As a senior in college, it’s hard to imagine yourself fully immersed into the world of full-time working adults. I knew that I wanted to be somewhere that I could learn and grow professionally and have fun!
I heard of PERQ from my friend Michelle Watts (PERQ’s Talent Acquisition Specialist), and knew that they had the company culture that I was looking for.
Once I met the team and had gotten a tour of the office, PERQ quickly became my dream place to work. I loved that the position would give me experience in both sales and experience in the software technology and automotive industries.
A typical day for me in this role begins each morning by checking my email. I am on the phone most of the day, beginning at 9:00 A.M. speaking with dealerships and scheduling demos so they can see how other clients are utilizing our technology.
I have always been a list maker and it brings me pure joy to cross something off my list. So, it’s not surprising that one of my favorite parts of the day is our stand-up team meetings where our team talks about goals they achieved that day and goals they are setting for the following day.

I am still learning in this position every day and I learn best from feedback and working with others. The entire sales team has been awesome as I have been trying to learn the ropes.
They answer all my questions during the day (and I ask A LOT). They are helpful, patient, and encouraging when helping me reach my goals.
The office has the best environment. When you’re not dodging nerf bullets being shot at you, you may be riding a razor scooter to your next meeting.
While the nerf guns and scooters are awesome, I am incredibly excited to continue to learn and grow here professionally. It’ s amazing to work alongside people who share the same goals and help each other achieve it.
